Zillow Mortgage Marketplace reports Virginia mortgage rates for 30-year fixed-rate mortgages dropped 2 basis points from 4.75% to 4.73% on Tuesday. State mortgage rates ranged from the lowest rate of 4.66% (ID) to the highest rate of 5.63% (NE). Currently, Virginia mortgage rates are 5 basis points lower than the national average of 4.78%.
The Virginia mortgage rate on March 9, 2010, is down 4 basis points from last week's average Virginia rate of 4.77%.
