Karen started her career in sales for Xerox and AT&T. In 2002, she quickly found her calling in real estate. Unlike corporate sales, real estate sales allows Karen to interact with buyers and sellers that need empathy with their home decisions. That's Karen's favorite part of her job- helping her clients. She is consistently one of the Top Producing Agents for Keller Williams Realty in the Washington DC area. In 2007, with an increasing number of clients, she started KP Associates. She started with a Client Care Manager and has expanded to a sales team.
Karen is a long time resident of the Northern Virginia area having lived in the Arlington/Alexandria corridor for the majority of her life. When she's not out with her clients, you'll find her on one of the various soccer fields in Northern Virginia either playing or coaching. In the winter months you can find her sipping a pina colada on one of the many white sand beaches of the Dominican Republic. Karen currently resides in Oakton, Virginia with her loving husband and 2 crazy labrador retrievers.

David has always enjoyed a good challenge, and that might explain his transtion to Real Estate in late 2006 from a successful career in corporate sales and account management.
David combined his love for all things Real Estate and a desire to serve others into an opportunity to guide clients through one of the most imposing experiences a person may encounter during their lifetime, the purchase or sale of a home. Offering the chance to continually expand, grow and learn, David found his perfect home as a realtor with Keller Williams and KP Associates.
David is an active community member with strong ties to Northern Virginia. When not working with clients he enjoys socializing with friends, traveling to destinations both near and far and sampling everything the DC area has to offer. He makes his home in Reston, Virginia with his wife, Jennifer, and loves an invitation to golf anytime.

Brett Shankle’s entire career has been client-focused which explains why he excels in meeting the real estate needs of his clients in the Maryland, DC and Virginia. Brett’s transitioned from the restaurant industry to real estate 8 years ago and he found his passion in helping people with their real estate needs. He has taken on the challenge and is now a top producing agent on the Karen Parker Team.
Brett is a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia having graduated from Lake Braddock HS and attended Elon College and George Mason University. He is also a licensed home inspector and licensed appraiser in the state of Virginia.In those rare instances when Brett has some free time, he can be found training for a marathon or playing catch up with his wife, four children and pesky pooch in Gainesville, Virginia.

Mike brings 16 years of DC area real estate knowledge to the Karen Parker Team. Mike lives in Fairfax Station with his wife, Angie, their two children and an active chocolate lab, Abby. Having been a recreational coach for several sports, he has retired from coaching but still enjoys playing soccer and cooking.

Steve is an active residential real estate investor owning several properties in the NOVA area. Steve also has experience buying and selling investment properties utilizing a 1031 tax exchange. Steve enjoys working with buyers and helping them achieve the dream of home ownership. Prior to Steve?s career in real estate he worked in the field of purchasing, vendor management and 3rd party outsourcing.
Steve holds the Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) designation issued by the Institute for Supply Managers. Steve graduated from James Madison University with a degree in marketing. Steve lives in Vienna with his wife and three children. Steve and his family are active members of Vienna Presbyterian church.

Crystal is a native to the DC Metro area. She grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and has since lived in Washington DC Metro her entire life. Crystal has resided in Maryland, DC and Virginia, which has given her a strong understanding and comfort level with neighborhoods thruout the region. Crystal began her real estate career as a Leasing Specialist for a property management company in 1999. After several years, she transitioned into selling new homes for a national builder, in Loudoun and Prince William counties. Crystal used her new home sales experience as a platform into general brokerage and hasn't looked back since. Whether working with a distressed sale, a healthy sale, new construction or rental, Crystal prides herself on the excellent service she provides her clients. She is passionate about giving her clients the necessary tools, guidance and attention which are essential to choosing the right home for them.
